One of Those Weeks, Part 2
I keep saying, it ain't a loss until you sell. Still, it's painful to click on CNBC every single day and watch another triple digit decline in the market. After awhile, even turning your head upside down and pretending the Dow is really moving up stops working.
So what do you do? Keep on keeping on. I'm getting to work so early and leaving so late these days, I've actually passed myself twice in the lobby. Whatever you can do to make it through, because eventually things will get better.
And fortunately we always friends, family and food to fall back on. This weekend, I'll be double checking the trailer in preparation for our last contest of the year.
I've also been asked to do a demo out there for the public so need to figure that out, perhaps killing two birds with one stone and taping it for my Food Network submission.
Top that off with 4 grilling categories Saturday and 4 BBQ categories Sunday and you got yourselves one busy arse weekend! And it's sure to be a heck of a lot better than this week... |
