So here we are, on the eve of what is certain to be one of the most historic Presidential elections of our time.

Personally, I'm not an overly political guy, just another Joe BBQ, but few Americans can turn a blind eye when so much is at stake these days.

The economy sucks, we're in a war with no real end in sight, and I can't find a decent bone-in pork butt due, in part I believe, to this continued backlash against pork barrel spending.

I will be voting tomorrow as I hope every registered voter out there will do.

And as for proposition 12 on your ballot, allowing for even lesser regulations on the use of the terms bbq, barbeque, barbecue or baaaabecuuuue in reference to a restaurant with no real smoker or understanding of the art of slow cooking?

H#ll no, 12 must go!
