Food Fight!!!!
Last night saw the end of the submission period for Food Network's "Next Food Network Star" wannabe participants.
While I have no official numbers, it seems like they far exceeded last year's entry total, with nearly 580 online videos coupled with various regional in-person tryouts.
Suffice to say, I am one of the countless cooks vying for a spot and with those numbers, it doesn't look good.
But never worry. I plan on continuing my online video exploration of all things grilling and bbq for years to come.
And maybe someday they WILL come a knocking, wanting a shot at producing my latest concept "Smoke 'N Da Bear".
Modeled after the hit TV show "BJ and the Bear", follow me as I travel from barbecue contest to contest with my pet ape, Bear. Good food and non-stop hilarity guaranteed!
