Eating Salad with the Bacon Explosion Guys
As millions now know thanks to their appearance in the New York Times, on Fox & Friends, GMA, CNN, and countless other outlets, Jason and Aaron of BBQ Addicts are blowing it up, bacon style!
The Bacon Explosion is the must make treat for Super Bowl Sunday and these guys are going non-stop. I got a chance to hang out with them and their wonderfully supportive wives last night at the always awesome Blue Smoke where Kenny and team definitely treated us right. Knowing how much bacon these guys have consumed in recent weeks, we started out with three great salads, followed by multiple sides, Memphis style baby back ribs, KC style spares (for the KC crew), beef ribs (my hands down favorite every time), brisket and god knows what else.

And along the way, I got to watch the reaction as Jason and Aaron (left to right above) learned their creation was the number one searched term on Google. It's always great to meet new friends and I hope to see them again soon when I trek down to their neck of the woods for the American Royal Invitational. And least I forget, today is TGI Fry-Day. Unfortunately Jason left six pounds of bacon in the fridge at Blue Smoke so I got no pork to fry but I do have another little bite that I'll get up in a little bit!
