3 Days, 25 Thousand Dollars
Before we get to today's Labor Day recipe, we wanted to let everyone know about $25,000 Make That Sandwich
contest (www.mezzetta.com) that ends THIS MONDAY. The winner receives a culinary trip
to Napa in
addition to the $25k, and two runner ups win $1,000 – not bad for a
sandwich recipe! The sponsor of the contest is GL Mezzetta, a family-owned
specialty food producer, best known for their peppers and olives. I have to
say that my lunches have been a lot more flavorful (and healthy) since we
started working with them.
