BBQ Pitmasters Adds the Food Dude

The first official news regarding season two of TLC's BBQ Pitmasters has been released and in addition to bringing in a new host, the show will change formats completely in what seems on the surface to be a hybrid between the old OLN and Versus series.

And while our initial bets for a host would have been on Chris Lilly, the good Dr. BBQ, a member of last season's Pitmasters or a dozen or so other great personalities out there on the circuit, the honors go to Kevin Roberts, aka The Food Dude.

Having known Kevin for several years, we know that Kevin will really shine in front of the camera and we wish him the best of luck.  As for the rest of the show, we'll provide as much information as we can as soon as possible!
