Getting Schooled in Competition Que
Now that the competition barbecue season comes to an end for many teams across the country, thoughts naturally turn to perfecting recipes and techniques for next year.
As such, we'd like to offer up three classes to be taught by some of the country's hottest teams -- Swamp Boys, Yazoo's Delta Q, Plowboys and Smoke on Wheels. Each course offers something unique to those in attendance, whether it's Yazoo's winning ways on the MBN circuit, Swamp Boys proficiency at FBA or Plowboys/SOW's domination in KCBS events.
First up is the Plowboys/Smoke On Wheels class to be held October 30th in New York State. American Royal Invitational champ Todd Johns joins second generation pitmaster Andy Groneman for an in-depth look at what it takes to be successful on the KCBS circuit.
Next on the calendar is the Swamp Boys Q School , to be held in Live Oak, FL November 5-6. Join the list of Champions who have taken this class and kicked up their FBN and KCBS game - 1st place category winners, Reserve Grand Champions, GRAND CHAMPIONS! This class is a bargain and this will be the last one given at the current price, and is the last one for 2010.
Finally, Yazoo's Delta Q is having their next class November 13 and 14th in Hernando, MS (located minutes outside of Memphis, TN). During the class, the 2010 Memphis in May champs will be going over all 4 KCBS meats and all 3 MBN meats, including their World Champion whole hog and will cover everything from contest set up to presentations and everything in between.
